DaFam… is a shared family space created to keep our connection strong across generations, locations, and seasons of life.
It is a place where memories are preserved, stories are shared, milestones are celebrated, and family moments can continue beyond one gathering.
DaFam… helps us stay united, informed, and uplifted as we continue building stronger relationships with one another. It allows us to celebrate achievements, support each other through challenges, and create meaningful experiences that strengthen the family bond.
Rooted in love and guided by faith, DaFam… reflects the importance of staying connected, honoring those who came before us, and creating something lasting for those who will follow.
Through God’s Grace & Love, our family continues to grow closer, stronger, and more unified.
DaFam… is about connection, legacy, and togetherness.

.
What a day family… truly a blessing to see generations come together in love, laughter, unity, and fellowship. This wasn’t just a reunion… this was legacy in motion.
For the record, Cuz Todd / Cuz Dawayne’s Gold Team came through strong, winning the first round of Musical Chairs for the youth! Then the Millennials stepped up and Auntie Nita’s Purple Team showed they still got it, taking the Millennial round with style.
The love across every branch was powerful to witness. Auntie Mammie represented as the eldest of the hometown Florida family for the Brown Team, showing us the beauty of longevity and presence.
All the way from Atlanta, Georgia, the eldest in attendance was Grandma Lester, representing the Navy Blue Team Championship family, blessed to be 93 years young. That alone reminds us what DaFam… is truly about, honoring those who paved the way.
It was a special moment seeing my sister Simone show up for the first time to meet her daddy’s side , Bernie B’s side, and she brought her beautiful daughter, my niece Nyla. That right there is what this is about… connections being made and roots being strengthened.
Auntie Gwen’s Gang, the Yellow Team, shined bright all day with love, personality, and that good family energy. Much appreciation to Auntie Gwen, Caprice, and all the ladies and gents who helped coordinate and facilitate the gathering. Baby Tracy held it down as well, helping keep everything flowing.
The Tooks family was in the place to be, representing clean in their white. Uncle Demetres and his lady stood strong for the Red Team, showing love and unity. Caprice stepped out in Pink, Lisa represented Orange, and Auntie Caroline, we say Aunty Craline, was kickin it and brought that warm family presence we all know and love.
And shout out to Cuz Todd pulling up from one of the Carolinas, proving distance can’t stop family connection.
For this year’s championship, Navy Blue Team Bernard’s Branch, my Dad the oldest brother, brought it home. The Lord blessed me with a concept for our branch that captured the spirit of the day:
Bernie B’s
Stay Buzz’n Through God’s Grace & Love
But truthfully, it wasn’t about winning or losing… it was about family showing up in unity, color, joy, and appreciation for one another.
It was love.
It was powerful.
It was DaFam…
And this is only the beginning.
